Build your real idea with Claude Code.

A 4-week live cohort for founders, consultants, and researchers who want to go from idea to shipped product - without being a developer.

4 weeks · 2-hour live sessions · 6 places only · founding cohort · your own project from day one · Claude Pro minimum

You have an idea. You just don't know how to build it yet.

You've seen what Claude Code can do. You've maybe even tried it - opened the terminal, typed something, watched it generate a wall of code, and quietly closed the tab.

The problem isn't the tool. The problem is that nobody taught you how to think about what you're building before you start building it. How to give Claude the context it needs to build what you actually want. How to interrogate the output rather than just trust it. How to keep going when something breaks.

This cohort teaches you that. And you'll learn it by building your own real idea - not a toy project someone else designed for you.

This is for you if you're thinking:

  • I have a specific idea I want to turn into a real product.
  • I've tried Claude Code but didn't know how to direct it properly.
  • I want to build something real, not practice on projects I don't care about.
  • I want to understand what I'm building, not just copy and paste code I don't understand.
  • I'm not a developer, but I'm technical enough to figure things out.

The reason most people fail to learn to build with AI isn't the tools. It's the projects.

Every coding tutorial gives you toy projects - to-do lists, weather apps, fake e-commerce stores. You have zero investment in whether they work. The moment it gets hard, you stop. Because why wouldn't you?

The Claude Code Studio works differently. From session one, you build your own real idea. The thing you've actually been thinking about. The database, the tool, the site, the product. Real motivation means you push through the hard parts.

But building your own thing isn't enough on its own. You also need a way of working that makes every Claude Code project better - not just this one.

That means understanding how Claude Code actually works, not just prompting it blindly. It means developing taste and judgment so you can evaluate what it produces. It means knowing the basics of security and architecture so you're not building on shaky foundations. And it means learning to interrogate AI output rather than trust it wholesale.

Craft

The difference between vibe coding and building something you're proud of. Architecture, taste, judgment - applied to your own project.

Practice

Repeatable habits that make every Claude Code project better. How to brief, how to unblock, how to review, how to maintain.

Ownership

Understanding what you've built well enough to explain it, extend it, and fix it when something breaks.

This isn't a passive course. You'll ship your own real project.

Your live deployed project

Your own idea, built by you, live on the internet by session four. Not a practice project. The real thing.

Your personal CLAUDE.md

A context file you take to every future Claude Code project. The foundation that makes everything Claude builds for you better.

Your architecture map

A clear picture of what you built, how it fits together, and how to extend it. So you understand your own project, not just the output.

Your repeatable building practice

A set of habits and approaches that make every future Claude Code project faster, better, and less frustrating.

The judgment to evaluate AI output

Not blind trust, not blind skepticism. A practical way to interrogate what Claude produces and decide what to keep, what to question, and what to throw out.

The ability to get unstuck independently

How to describe a problem so Claude can fix it. How to know when to push through and when to start again. How to keep building without hand-holding.

The 4-week journey

Session 1

Set up and start

The foundation session

How Claude Code actually works - the mental model, not the magic. Setting up your environment: VS Code, Claude Code, GitHub. CLAUDE.md - giving Claude the context it needs to build what you actually want. The briefing workflow: think in Claude Chat, build in Claude Code. Token efficiency basics - how to work lean from day one.

Hands-on

Everyone sets up their environment, writes their first CLAUDE.md, and initialises their own project.

Session 2

Architecture and taste

Before you build, you need to know what you're building

Why architecture matters even when you're not a developer. How to develop taste - and how to borrow it if you don't have it yet. How to interrogate Claude's suggestions rather than accept them blindly. Spotting when Claude is confidently wrong. Security basics every builder needs to know before they go further. Building your first Claude skill - how to turn a repeatable task into a reusable instruction that makes every future project faster.

Hands-on

Everyone maps their project architecture in Claude Chat first, then brings it into Claude Code.

Session 3

Build and unblock

The doing session

Repeatable practices that make every Claude Code project better. How to describe a problem so Claude can actually fix it. When to trust the output, when to question it, when to throw it out. How to maintain momentum across a real project.

Hands-on

Everyone builds their own project. Hot seat format - one person shares screen, the group learns from watching real problems get solved in real time.

Session 4

Ship and sustain

Getting it live and keeping it going

Deployment done properly - Cloudflare Pages, Railway, environment variables, API keys handled correctly. How to maintain a project after the cohort ends. Building repeatable practices into your workflow. What comes next.

Hands-on

Everyone deploys. Everyone presents what they built.

Between sessions

Private group channel for questions and unblocking. One short implementation task per week, around 30-45 minutes. Everyone pushes to GitHub so progress is visible and you can come prepared to each session.

This isn't another AI course.

You can watch Claude Code tutorials on YouTube for free. This cohort is different because you'll work on your own real project from session one, with live guidance, a small group of people doing the same thing, and someone in the room who has actually shipped real AI systems for paying clients.

The group is deliberately small - six people maximum. That means real attention, real troubleshooting, and a cohort identity rather than a classroom.

  • 4 weekly live sessions, 2 hours each
  • Maximum 6 participants
  • Your own real project from day one
  • Weekday Slack access throughout the four weeks - I check in daily Monday to Friday and aim to respond within 24 hours
  • GitHub-based progress so you're never starting from scratch in a session
  • Session recordings available as backup
  • Small enough that everyone gets seen

Founders and consultants with a specific idea to build

You have something in mind - a tool, a database, a product, a site. You want to build it yourself rather than brief a developer you can't properly evaluate.

Researchers and analysts who want to go beyond prompting

You're technically curious and comfortable with data, but you've never built something and deployed it. Claude Code is the bridge.

People who've tried and stopped

You've opened Claude Code, or tried to learn to code before, and it didn't stick. The missing piece was building something you actually cared about.

People who want to understand what they're building

Not just vibe coding and hoping for the best. You want the judgment to evaluate the output, understand the architecture, and own what you've made.

Builders with commercial intent

Ideally you're building something with a potential market - a tool, a platform, a product someone would pay for. The cohort works for personal projects too, but the price justifies itself most clearly when what you're building has commercial potential.

This is probably not for you if:

You want a passive course to watch later.

You don't have a specific idea you want to build.

You want to learn Python, JavaScript, or software engineering.

You're already an experienced developer.

You can't commit to four sessions and between-session work.

You want someone to build it for you.

I have a PhD in data science and I've built production AI systems for paying clients - but I don't write code from scratch. I direct Claude Code to build it, I evaluate what it produces, and I own what comes out the other side. That's the skill this cohort teaches.

I built all of it the way I'll teach you to build: by understanding the architecture before touching the code, developing taste for what good output looks like, and knowing how to interrogate Claude rather than just trust it.

The Claude Code Studio teaches what I actually do - not a sanitised version designed to make you think it's harder than it is, and not a vague "just prompt it better" approach that leaves you stuck the moment something breaks.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You need to be comfortable using a laptop and willing to learn a new way of working. Claude Code does the coding. You direct it, evaluate it, and own what it builds.

What tools do I need?

A laptop, VS Code (free), a GitHub account (free), and a Claude subscription. We recommend starting with Claude Pro as the minimum, but if you hit usage limits during the cohort - which can happen during intensive build sessions - upgrading to Claude Max ($100/month) will give you uninterrupted access. For deployment we use Cloudflare Pages for websites and Railway for applications and backend projects. If your specific project needs additional tools such as Supabase, we'll identify that before the cohort starts and make sure you're set up in advance. Full setup guidance is included before session one.

Will I actually ship something in four weeks?

Yes. That's the point. By session four everyone deploys their own project. It might not be finished - real projects rarely are - but it will be live, real, and yours.

What if I get stuck between sessions?

That's what the private Slack channel is for. I check in daily Monday to Friday and aim to respond within 24 hours - post where you're stuck, share your screen if needed, and get unblocked. You're never more than a day away from an answer.

What if I don't have an idea yet?

This cohort is designed for people who have a specific idea they want to build. If you're not sure yet, the AI Strategy Sprint might be a better starting point - we can identify your best AI opportunity in a focused 1:1 session first.

What's the difference between the Claude Code Studio and the AI Leadership Lab?

The AI Leadership Lab is for founders and MDs who want to use AI better in how they lead and run their business - no code involved. The Claude Code Studio is for people who want to build something: a tool, a product, a database, a site. Different audiences, different outcomes.

Will sessions be recorded?

Yes. Recordings are available to rewatch. Attending live is strongly encouraged - the hot seat work and real-time building is where most of the value is.

What's the refund policy?

Full refund available up to and including the second session. After that, refunds aren't available. If you have questions before joining, get in touch directly.

When does the cohort start?

The founding cohort date will be confirmed with waitlist members first. Join the waitlist to be notified as soon as the date is set.

Stop thinking about it. Start building it.

The Claude Code Studio is for people who have an idea and want to ship it - with the craft, judgment, and repeatable practice to build things they're proud of. Six places. Founding cohort price.
